Why we started
Like many parish churches across Scotland, Fyvie Parish Church relies on the generosity of its congregation and community to keep going. Heating, insurance, maintenance and ministry all cost money, and the church building is used by far more people than attend on a Sunday.
The lottery began as a way to give supporters a regular, fun and affordable way to help. A pound a week from many people makes a real difference.
